Demystifying Finance: A Series for First-Year Undergrads

Join DFE for the Demystifying Finance series led by juniors and seniors with recruiting and internship experience. The five-part series will acquaint you with foundational concepts, such as buy side vs. sell side; major job roles in investment banking; alternative finance career paths, such as private equity and hedge funds; the internship recruiting process; and the resources on campus that support students going into finance.

Demystifying Finance is designed to increase your understanding of finance careers in a zero-pressure environment with peers as your guides. No knowledge about finance is assumed, and all questions are welcome. See the session schedule below. Register for each session at econ.duke.edu/dfe/demystifying-finance.
