Is the World in Crisis? A United Nations View

Join Dr. Pedro Conceição, director of the United Nations Human Development Report Office, and Dr. Anirudh Krishna, Edgar Thompson Distinguished Professor of Public Policy, for a fireside chat followed by a Q&A session.

Each year the United Nations reports on the state of the world in its Human Development Report. The past three years' reports have consistently issued grave warnings - of the Anthropocene, rising inequality and growing polarization - while holding out hope and plotting promising directions. Dr. Conceição will report from his position at the center of events in the UN.
