Community service opportunity! Join us as we make no-sew blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that brings blankets to seriously ill and traumatized children throughout the area. Blankets are delivered to infants through young adults at Rex, Wake Med, and Duke hospitals. They are also distributed through Salvation Army, Hospice, Make a Wish Foundation, TAPS camp, East Coast Migrant Head Start Project, and Victory Junction. All of the supplies will be provide at the event and no sewing skills are required, all we need is your time! Each blanket should take 30-45 minutes to make. We will also have some special treats!
