The TRENTo prescription is widely used to model the initial state of
heavy ion collisions, followed by a free streaming pre-hydrodynamic
stage. TRENTo is able to reproduce the scaling behavior of many
microscopic models, but not all. We generalize the TRENTo prescription
to describe some of the missing scaling behaviors, and modify the pre-
hydrodynamic stage so that it can interpolate between weak and strong
coupling. We subsequently perform a Bayesian analysis to compare the
generalized model to experimental data. These experimental data include
the recent measurement of the PbPb hadronic cross section, which has
interesting implications for the nucleon size.
