1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Andrew Miles

Prerequisite: Basic working knowledge of R commands and functions, data management skills. Note that any who have completed the 4-part series "Introduction to R for Applied Research" fulfill this requirement. Also, participants should be familiar with the basic concepts underlying logistic, ordered logistic, and multinomial models, as taught in part 1 of this workshop. This workshop builds on the concepts learned in part 1 and will show how logit, ordered logit, and multinomial models can be estimated using R. Time permitting, attention will also be given to model diagnostics. Participants comfortable with using R and with categorical data are welcome to register for this without participating in Part 1.
