12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

In follow-up to Duke Global Health Week, DGHI is pleased to host Scenarios from Africa, an organization driven by the goal of using media and relationships to mobilize and educate young people about HIV/AIDS. Join us to hear how Scenarios from Africa gives children and young adults an exciting opportunity to educate themselves and others about HIV/AIDS by inviting them to participate with internationally acclaimed directors in the production of a growing collection of short films. Launched in 1997 by Kate Winskell, a professor at the Emory University School of Public Health, and Dave Enger, the project now counts more than 150,000 participants in 50 countries. Learn more here. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to ensure an accurate headcount for catering.
