Changing Behaviors and Changing Health in China

Nancy Liu, PhD, received her MA in clinical psychology in 2007 and is currently completing her PhD through the University of Nebraska. As a fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, she researches mental health services delivered in resource-poor settings. Under a Fulbright in Beijing, China, she studied the epidemiology of depression and suicide among women in rural areas, and as an NIH/Fogarty Scholar, she worked in health policy at a Cochrane Collaboration Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, examining the health impact of microfinance-based health interventions.
