Religion and Identity In Europe and Beyond (Bar-Ilan University, ISRAEL)

Duke Center for Jewish Studies affiliated faculty, Malachi Hacohen, Shai Ginsburg, and Joseph Shatzmiller will be speaking at the international conference on: "Religion & Identity In European and Beyond: Between Hybridity & Ethnicity"The conference will be held at the Bar-Ilan University & Hotel Kfar Maccabiah, Ramat Gan, ISRAEL, June 12 - 14, 2012. The conference is organized and sponsored by Department of General History and Chair of Jewish Though, bar-Ilan University(Israel), The Institut Religions Cultures Modernite at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), and the Centers for European Studies and Jewish Studies at Duke University.Additional support has been provided by the North Carolina State University History Department and wake Forest University.
