Peace Corps Volunteer Information Session
On March 1, 1961, John F. Kennedy signed an executive order providing the establishment of the Peace Corps. His hope was that by year¿s end, he would have 500 Volunteers in the field. Today, Peace Corps sends roughly 4,000 Volunteers into the field.
