The Human Subjects Research at Duke course is 2-hour instructor led course which is mandatory for all non- faculty employees who are new to the field of Clinical Research, or who are new to working within clinical research at Duke. New clinical research employees should work with the Research Practice Manager of their CRU for assistance in completing this requirement. Participants in this course will receive an overview of the complex regulatory environment of human subjects research, examine the various types of human subjects research, identify study team roles and responsibilities, and will receive an overview of Duke¿s clinical research structure. While this course is geared toward those who are new to Duke or new to clinical research, all employees are welcome to attend.
