As part of the Kenan Institute for Ethics and Center for Documentary Studies' new Visiting Writers Series in Ethics, Society, and Documentary Art, acclaimed author Eula Biss (Notes from No Man's Land: American Essays) will give a public reading and talk based on her recently published nonfiction work On Immunity: An Inoculation. The book "investigates the metaphors and myths surrounding our conception of immunity and its implications for the individual and the social body."
