STEM Careers Outside the Box featuring Fannie Mitchell Expert in Residence, Kelly Witter, MBA'92, MS'85 [Registration required]
As the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency-RTP's (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) STEM Program, Kelly Witter collaborates with schools and the community to develop and implement educational outreach programs, particularly in minority and low-income K-12 schools. During her career at EPA, she has also conducted research on indoor air quality in schools and on human exposure to pollutants. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Math, a Master's in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Fuqua MBA, all from Duke University.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with Kelly and attend a lunch presentation from 12:30-1:30pm where Kelly will discuss her career trajectory and working at the EPA.
