Derek Walcott Memorial Poetry Reading

Renowned poet Derek Walcott passed away on March 17th of this year. The Saint Lucian poet and playwright received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1992 and was best known for his Homeric epic poem Omeros.
Romance Studies invites you to join us for a celebration of Derek Walcott's life and works as part of the Humanities Futures grant through FHI. We will be holding a memorial poetry reading in his honor on Tuesday April 18th from 4-6PM in Goodson Chapel. Sign up to read your favorite poem by emailing Lauren at email@example.com.
