Join Duke's Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) for the 2014 EDGE Forum as we focus on Cleantech in China. As China industrializes at a dramatic pace, government and business leaders recognize that this development must happen in a way that meets the nation's growth needs while also addressing rising pollution levels and constraints on natural resources. The EDGE Forum will look at China's sustainable development future and its implications for the private sector. We will get a first look at the key trends and market insights from the China Greentech Report, and then hear from a panel of entrepreneurs about the realities of launching and scaling cleantech ventures in China. Speakers include: Elle Carberry, Co-Founder & Managing Director, China Greentech Initiative; Anthony Atti, Co-Founder & CEO, Phononic; Taryn Sullivan, Founder & CEO, Efficiency Exchange; Tom Darden, Founder & CEO, Cherokee Investment Partners; Shu Ching Quek, Founder & CEO, Novuswave; and more. The forum is free and open to the public. RSVP requested. Program and speaker details available at: http://www.fuqua.duke.edu/edge/news_and_events/edgeforum/.
