Un-hooking from Disruptive Stress and Living More FullyThis is the retreat version of our popular Worrying Well workshop. For those of you who worry about committing to a 4-week workshop, we've created this single day retreat!We all worry from time to time. Worrying reflects that there are things in life that we care about, and the emotion of worry reminds us to pay attention to those things and take care of them. However, when worry becomes pervasive, taking more of our time and energy, it gets in the way of us living our lives fully---and we don't even enjoy the things in our life we actually care about in the first place. Not only can this lead to a number of psychological problems, it keeps us hooked onto the worry while life passes by.This half-day retreat helps you examine the nature of your worry and how to recognize when you get caught up in it. Worry tends to hold you hostage, and this workshop will help you show up for your life more fully! Learn to adjust your perspective and your actions to ¿un-hook¿ from disruptive stress.
