Powell, John Spencer Bassett Professor of Art History and Dean of Humanities, is one of several scholars providing on-screen commentary in the film "Through A Lens Darkly: Black Photographers and the Emergence of a People," which will air on PBS on Monday, February 16 at 10 PM (check your local listings). The film recently won the NAACP Image Award for "Outstanding Documentary (Theatrical).
