The Duke University Emamian Lecture Series presents Ms. Haleh Saei, who will give a talk about the life and legacy of Tahereh Qurraut'l-Ayn. Tahereh Qurraut'l-Ayn was an influential poet and women's rights activist in Iran from 1814 - 1852. The lecture will be followed by a reading of her poetry, music and time for Q&A and free discussion. This event is free and open to the public.
