Crucial Conversations

The ability to communicate effectively in challenging interactions is a core leadership skill needed to sustain trust and productivity in an academic environment. This workshop will explore critical elements of crucial conversations and will help faculty hone their skills in this area. The workshop will include a discussion of style under stress and the ways in which stress can impact our behavior. This will be an interactive and highly participative session aimed at increasing each participant's confidence in approaching and managing difficult communications.
