Since 1999\, Ku has held the post of Visit ing Professor of Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory and leads groups of stude nts to China each summer as part of the Duke Engage Program. R. Larry Tod d is Arts & Sciences Professor and former chair of the Music Department a t Duke University.
