 ics and race. Her interests and primary areas of work include genetics an
 d genomics in African and African Diaspora populations\; sickle cell dise
 ase and trait\; public and professional perspectives and practices regard
 ing race\, ethnicity\, and ancestry\; genetic ancestry inference\; and ge
 notype-environment interplay.\n\nA fundamental aim of her work is to dism
 antle ideologies and systems of racial hierarchy in science\, healthcare\
 , and society. She directs the Duke Center on Genomics\, Race\, Identity\

 olitics? Please join Frank Bruni\, a Duke professor and Bret's sparring p
