Sponsor(s): Fuqua School of Business
In response to global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality, supply chains are increasingly adopting sustainable practices to reduce carbon footprints, promote social equity, and avoid the reputational and financial costs of violations happening in the distant tiers of the chain. However, implementing these practices presents numerous obstacles, including ensuring compliance with sustainability standards across multiple tiers.
In this presentation, Professor Jeannette Song will review some models that explore effective strategies for managing compliance, fostering voluntary practices and sustained partnerships among suppliers, customers, NGOs, and governments.
