 \, and a sermon. The guest preacher for this service is Dr. Angel Collie\
 , director of the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (CSGD) at Duke U
 niversity. Dr. Collie grew up in rural North Carolina and\, before joinin
 g the team as the associate director of the CSGD\, served as the assistan
 t director of the LGBTQ Center at UNC-CH. He returned to UNC (where he re
 ceived his bachelor of arts in religious studies with minors in both wome
 n's studies and sexuality studies) for the assistant director position af
 ter obtaining a master of divinity from Yale Divinity School. Dr. Collie 
 recently graduated with a doctor of ministry from Duke Divinity School\, 
 where he focused on providing spiritual care within trans communities. In
  addition to his professional and academic work\, Dr. Collie serves on th
 e Center for LGBTQ and Gender Studies Transgender Roundtable\, as the sec

  the intern for worship and student engagement at the Chapel. A graduate 
 student at Duke Divinity School\, Eithun also plays the Chapel carillon o
 n Sunday mornings. He is a composer\, mathematician\, and lover of bells.
  He holds a bachelor of arts in mathematics and computer science and a mi
 nor in music from Ripon College and a master of science in computational 
 mathematics\, science and engineering from Michigan State University. He 
 has over sixty published pieces of handbell music and has received commis
 sions from community and church handbell ensembles. He has ministry exper
 ience as a handbell director\, digital ministry intern\, and campus pasto

 l formation in music ensembles. He is a member of the Handbell Musicians

 clinical administrative chaplain at Duke Hospital. Rev. Bayless has a dee

 on staff care towards resiliency and decreasing workplace moral distress\
 , she engages interdisciplinary teams in providing holistic care that enc
 ompasses the physical\, emotional\, and spiritual well-being of patients\
 , families\, and staff. Rev. Bayless' interests lie in how spiritual beli
 efs impact and intersect with complex medical decisions\, and she is dedi
 cated to companioning with families through tender end-of-life moments an
 d navigating Advance Directives. As an adjunct member of the Ethics Commi
 ttee\, she provides valuable spiritual insight and guidance on challengin
 g ethical dilemmas. With clinical and administrative oversight for Duke U
 niversity Hospital's Heart Center and serving on the Adult Palliative Car
 e Consult team\, Rev. Bayless brings a wealth of experience to her role. 
 She is a board-certified chaplain through the Association of Professional
  Chaplains (APC). Additionally\, she is a candidate for Palliative Care a
 nd Hospice Advanced Certification through APC. Theresa earned her master 
 of divinity from Duke University and her master of social Work from UNC-C
 hapel Hill and completed a residency in clinical pastoral education at Du
 ke. Her extensive training\, experience\, and commitment to compassionate
  care\, along with her dedication and expertise in her field\, make Rev. 
 Bayless an integral part of Duke University's healthcare team.
