Dr. Nii Addy is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. After earning his BS degree at Duke, he received his PhD from Yale and has continued there on faculty since 2010. His lab at Yale examines the neurobiological mechanisms of reinforcement learning and motivational control and seeks to identify how these mechanisms are altered in psychiatric illnesses, such as substance abuse.
