Piano Masterclass with Andrew Tyson

Durham native Andrew Tyson has garnered international praise as "a real poet of the piano" (BBC Radio 3). His remarkable artistic accomplishments include being a laureate of the Leeds International Piano Competition and achieving First Prize at the Géza Anda Competition in Zurich. He has performed with orchestras from the North Carolina Symphony and the Orchestra of St. Luke's at Alice Tully Hall, to the SWR Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart, Musikkollegium Winterthur and the National Orchestra of Belgium under Marin Alsop. Tyson will perform a concert in Baldwin Auditorium on Oct. 11, presented by Duke Performances. This masterclass is free and open to the public.
