Leading an Academic Unit at Duke (LAUD) Workshop Series

Fostering a culture that promotes, rewards, and celebrates faculty excellence is essential. Nominating faculty for campus, disciplinary, national, and international awards and other forms of recognition of excellence in research, teaching, and service helps raise the profile of the faculty and of our academic programs. In this workshop, a distinguished panel of leaders and faculty will share their insights and best practices on how to position faculty to compete for prestigious awards and how to put together compelling nominations. The workshop will also provide an overview of the available campus data and resources for successful faculty award nominations.
