Entrepreneur versus Venture Capitalist perspectives on Seed and Early Stage IT Investment
Entrepreneurs need other people's money to build and market what now exists only in their imagination. VCs have money and no imagination, so it should be a mutually beneficial partnership. Unfortunately, the very different perspectives and assumptions of the two often make effective communication and collaboration difficult. I will try to shed light on what these challenges are, and how to overcome them when possible. I have started multiple successful venture-backed companies, and managed a venture capital fund, so I know these worlds well.
