Introducing: Ericka Hart

Ericka Hart.

Breast cancer survivor. Activist, advocate, and certified sex educator. Ericka has been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Essence and Cosmopolitan. Hart is a fearless woman with a direct message--the freedom to live, and love, is for every one.

The Department of Housing & Residence Life is hosting Ericka Hart on Thursday, October 18th. Ericka will facilitate an interactive workshop on implicit bias, often guised as leadership. The aim of this workshop is to extract and confront inner bias, and provoke thoughtful conversation within our residence halls.

Reserved seats are available for Independent House Councils, Non-Greek Selective Living Group and Administrative House presidents. Though student leaders of all registered organizations are welcome, limited space is available.

If you are interested in attending the workshop, please e-mail Shanci Robinson at shanci.robinson@duke.edu. The workshop will take place in the Keohane Atrium from 8-9:30 p.m. Please confirm your attendance prior to the date, as dinner will be provided.
