Medical Alumni Weekend Lecture: Mental Stress-Induced LV Dysfunction
A native Chinese from China, Dr. Jiang received her formal medical education, and clinical training in internal medicine followed with cardiology in China between 1978 and 1987. After serving Cardiology Attending for 2 years in a tertiary academic hospital in China, Dr. Jiang joined the Behavioral Cardiology laboratory at Duke University in fall 1989. Following an 8-year intensive clinical research, Dr. Jiang took residency training in the Duke Medicine & Psychiatry Combined program from 1997 to 2002. Dr. Jiang was appointed to Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Medicine in 2002 and has been promoted to full Professor in 2014.
Double boarded in Psychiatry& Neuroscience, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Jiang has been a researcher, clinician, and teacher, bringing broad diversity with well-around integrational knowledge into teaching, patient care, and research. She funded and directs the Duke Neuropsychocardiology Laboratory.
