Dr. Rachel Kuo researches race, digital media, and social movements. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and holds a PhD in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University. She is a founding affiliate of the Center for Critical Race and Digital Studies and co-founder of the Asian American Feminist Collective. She also serves on the editorial board for Communication, Culture, and Critique and guest editor for the Asian American Writers' Workshop.
