Sacks is a Cybersecurity Policy & China Digital Economy Fellow at New America. She has worked on China's technology policies in both the public and private sector for over a decade. She leads New America's Data & Great Power Competition project, which looks at the relationship between geopolitics and emerging rules for who harnesses the value of data. Her commentaries and translations cover issues including: China's cybersecurity regulations and data governance, the US-China technology relationship, and the global expansion of Chinese tech companies.
