Duke University professor Dan Richtor's research and teaching links soils with ecosystems and the wider environment, documenting a legacy of soil change across the Southeast due to human land use. In this class, Dr. Richtor will expand your concept of the processes that create and alter soil, as well as the essential biology present in a functioning soil to maintain a healthy environment.
