Department of Population Health Sciences Research Seminar

Opportunities exist to improve population health by addressing quality gaps identified in the NAM report "Improving Diagnosis" (NAM 2015). The report provides a map for how patients, clinical teams, and organizations work together in the diagnostic process. Dr. McDonald will discuss this national framework's utility for implementation research, and highlights applicable findings from two recent research projects.

Dr. McDonald is the Executive Director at Stanford's Center for Health Policy and Center for Primary Care and Outcomes Research.
