Improving Innovation with Customer Discovery
In this workshop, individuals and teams will gain real-world, hands-on experience learning how customer discovery can impact the innovation process. Learn how to talk with and learn from customers, partners, and competitors, along with how to deal with the chaos and uncertainty of creating ventures and commercializing innovations. Nationally certified I-Corps instructor Elizabeth Good Mazhari will lead participants in an introduction to customer discovery and provide a foundation in business model generation.
About the Instructor: Elizabeth Good Mazhari is President of Transition Health Ventures, LLC, which she formed to advise and educate entrepreneurs who are ready to accelerate their innovative ideas through the commercialization process. As a nationally certified I-Corps instructor through the National Science Foundation, she leads teams through the customer discovery process at a variety of institutions, including the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and academic research centers. She also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
