The Pediatric Mental Health Crisis and Innovations in Integrated Care

The goal of the Children's Health & Discovery initiative (CHDI) is to foster multidisciplinary and innovative research that will positively impact childhood and lifelong health. As part of our goal of fostering multidisciplinary collaborations, the CHDI is holding seminar/brainstorming sessions, which we've termed "Great Minds Think for Kids". These lunch-time sessions will include a 40-minute research-in-progress talk from a guest speaker, followed by a brainstorming/group discussion session.

J. Nathan Copeland, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Duke Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Developmental Neuroscience, an attending physician in the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development, and an NCPAL Child Psychiatrist. His clinical and research interests include the impacts of autism and mental health on children and their families, psychopharmacologic management of mental illness, mental health systems and policy, and residency education.

Adrienne Banny Inscoe, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Duke Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Developmental Neuroscience. She is a clinical psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Inscoe specializes in clinical work and research related to depression treatment, suicide prevention, and integrated pediatric mental health.
