Join Professor Bruce Jentleson as AGS welcomes Bill Burns in a conversation centered around his new book, The Back Channel: Reflections on a Career in Diplomacy. Bill Burns is a former career Foreign Service Officer and ambassador to Russia from 2005 to 2008. His diplomatic career spans three decades and he is only the second serving career diplomat in history to become deputy secretary of state.
