About the lecture
Reproductive health-despite being a best-buy investment in global health and development-is suffering from an image problem. Despite increased global awareness of the vital role family planning and other reproductive health programs play not only in health but also in socio-economic development and gender equality, such programs tend to be the first that are cut when funding is low. How can we advocate for increased attention to and resources for reproductive health? We need to understand resistance and naysayers at various levels and tailor our messaging to convince them that no one loses when individuals and communities have access to high-quality reproductive health services.

Lunch will be provided. This event is part of the Global Reproductive Health Speaker Series. It is sponsored in partnership with the Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI).
