Crossroads: Chicken Wings & Cultural Appropriation
The CMA and Center for Race Relations present "Chicken Wings & Cultural Appropriation" as the October offering of Crossroads! We will be discussing cultural appropriation in contexts of food, music, language, and of course, costumes just in time for Halloween. Join us for a casual and informative conversation on what is being appropriated, who is appropriating them, and what it looks like to respectfully enjoy a culture versus appropriating and profiting off of it. Of course, free Heavenly Buffalos included!
Part of Crossroads, a monthly dialogue series by the Center for Multicultural Affairs about the intersections of social identities and the ways they affect our Duke experiences.
