loadbang: New Works by Duke Graduate Composers

New York City-based new music chamber group loadbang (trumpet, trombone, bass clarinet, and baritone voice) premieres six new pieces written for them by Duke graduate student composers:

Rhizome Study No. 2: Complete Disgust with All Biological Law Tyler Jordan (b.1997)
A Thief Within the Mountain Ronja Mokráňová (b. 1998)

loadbang's mission is to commission new works, perform works by members of the ensemble, and develop a unique language of improvisation. loadbang also believes in the receptivity of children to experimental art and is committed to bringing uncompromising sounds to young ears through outreach programs.
