Defining Your Impact at Midcareer: A Workshop for Associate Faculty (Tenured and Nontenured)

Facilitators:
Melissa Bostrom, Assistant Dean for Graduate School Professional Development
Maria Wisdom, Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement
Midcareer faculty often feel pulled to do "all the things" with finite amounts of time and energy. How can you do impactful work that's aligned with your unique strengths and personal values? This workshop will provide you structured, collegial space to reflect on past accomplishments, build greater awareness of your "signature" strengths via the CliftonStrengths assessment, and develop a long-range plan that aligns with who you are and what you do best.
Melissa Bostrom and Maria Wisdom will draw on their respective experiences as a Clifton Strengths facilitator (Melissa) and a professional certified coach (Maria) to guide participants through focused reflection and discernment. A small amount of prework may be required for this workshop. The CliftonStrengths assessment is a fee-based test, and all costs will be covered by the Office for Faculty Advancement.
