Duke Tech Week: Meet challenges to win prizes!

Technology groups from across the university are joining together to create an engaging and educational experience students. Duke Tech Week 2024, to be held Sept. 30-Oct. 3, on the Bryan Center Plaza will feature a variety of activities, events, and tabling sessions designed to raise awareness of IT products and services for students.

What is the Cyber Bowl?
• The Cyber Bowl is a month-long quiz competition that tests your cyber skills and knowledge.
• Play the Cyber Bowl by logging into the website with your NetID and taking a short quiz on topics such as passwords, phishing, malware and online privacy.
• Earn points for your school and help Duke beat UNC and NC State.

Play the Cyber Bowl
• Visit the Cyber Bowl website and log in with your NetID.
• Take the quiz and earn points for your team.
• Share the Cyber Bowl with your friends and colleagues and encourage them to play.
• Check the leaderboard and see how your school stacks up.
• Play as many times as you want through October 31, 2024.

Ready to put your deductive reasoning skills to the test? Join the Duke Tech Week Scavenger Hunt for OIT locations across West Campus to win a "technology" t-shirt!

Solve each of the three riddles that lead to OIT locations
Visit each location and scan the QR code
Complete the action for each location and take a selfie of that action
Head back to the BC Plaza, show the photos to the person distributing prizes, and receive a t-shirt

The first 50 students to complete the Scavenger Hunt will receive t-shirts. Good luck!
