Steven Platnick Speaker Event

Duke SEDS is hosting Dr. Steven Platnick, a leading atmospheric scientist with over three decades of experience at NASA, to speak. As the former EOS Senior Project Scientist and longtime lead for MODIS and VIIRS cloud algorithm development, his work has been critical to improving our understanding of Earth's climate system. In this talk, Dr. Platnick will share insights from his career in satellite remote sensing and atmospheric research, followed by a Q&A session.
