South Asia Working Group Introductory Session
You're invited to the introductory meeting of the South Asia Working Group (sponsored by the FHI), co-convened by Fizza Suhel, Shifa Nouman, and Tanvi Mehta. The group is a way for graduate students across disciplines who are working on South Asia to come together to discuss recent work on the region, as well as a place to present graduate research and receive feedback from peers.
There will be snacks from Lime & Lemon! There are no readings or presentations this first time. This first meeting will be an opportunity to meet those interested and decide together on readings and events for the year.
All graduate students working on any of the South Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka) are welcome! We'd love to learn more about your research. If you can join us, please fill out this form so we can get a sense of numbers.
