Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols

This is the traditional Lessons and Carols Christmas Eve Service with candlelight, scripture readings. and Christmas carols. The singers of the Duke Chapel Schola Cantorum, a harpist, and Chapel organists lead the music.

*** Attendees of this service are advised to arrive early to allow for time to park and because the service often fills up. ***

Free parking is available in the Bryan Center Parking Garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the parking lot at the same address.

Duke University recommends that anyone experiencing cold-like respiratory symptoms, even after a negative COVID test, continue to wear a mask indoors until symptoms resolve. Unvaccinated individuals, who are at increased risk for severe illness, are encouraged but will no longer be required to wear masks indoors.
