There is nothing more essential to life than water. Most of the world's major cities were built on or near a waterway because it enabled sustainable and large-scale trade, and provided a reliable resource for farming and industry. While water may appear in abundance, the reality is our world is experiencing a global water crisis with nearly 1 in 10 people lacking access to clean water. Given water's vital role in our lives, how do we establish best practices in utilizing and managing this precious resource? And, is there a role for large-scale businesses and industry to play?
