Social Determinants of Health

Dean Vincent Guilamo-Ramos will address social determinants of health, examining historic large-scale health and socially transformative events that have elevated the profile of nurses in safeguarding the health and well-being of the country.

This event is the first in the 2021-22 Dean's Lecture Series and builds upon the Fall 2021 Building Upon Excellence event series geared toward alumni and friends.

The 2021-22 Building Upon Excellence Dean's Lecture Series will feature speakers throughout the academic year, connecting the DUSON community, alumni, school partners and friends with experts and educators on topics that address the evolving role of nurses in health care, new models for nurse-driven health care delivery and future directions in nursing research and education.
