Subhash Mittal, a dedicated practitioner and Yoga teacher, boasts over four decades of experience in this ancient discipline. He completed an intensive Teacher Training program in the Integral Hatha Yoga style at the Swami Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville, VA, laying the foundation for his career in Yoga instruction. Additionally, he pursued a comprehensive course in Yoga Vedanta Philosophy at the Swami Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh, India, gaining insights into Yogic philosophy and establishing a disciplined daily routine that incorporates asana, pranayama, meditation, and scripture study.
In addition to his formal training, Subhash Mittal engages in ongoing self-study, with a particular focus on the Bhagavad Gita, and he facilitates a study group for the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Beyond his Yoga journey, Subhash Mittal enjoyed a successful career as telecommunications engineer with AT&T/Lucent for approximately twenty-five years before retiring in July 2005.
