Embroidery

In this workshop students will be guided through learning a handful of the basic embroidery stitches-when put together, these stitches can create beautiful and complex imagery. Students will be provided with a small piece of fabric, embroidery hoop, and a selection of embroidery thread. At the end of the workshop students will take home their finished piece which could later be framed as a work of art or sewn on to a piece of clothing like a patch!
Note: due to time it will be helpful if students can come prepared with some simple design ideas.
