Rich is a schizophrenia researcher who is interested cognitive factors that characterize the prodromal and active stages of schizophrenia and is particularly interested in being able to identify and treat high risk individuals as early in the disease process as is feasible. He and his wife, Caren, have built a company that aims to improve the assessment of cognitive and other factors so that clinical trials can be conducted with greater precision and thus the impact of those trials magnified.
