Exploring the Black Athlete Experience

On Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 7 pm, Duke Athletics will host a panel discussion that offers an in-depth look into the Black athlete experience. This event, which is open to the Duke community including Blue Devil student-athletes, coaches, and staff, presents an opportunity for our community to engage in a meaningful conversation about creating inclusive environments in traditionally White sports. Panelists include Baleigh Bruster (women's soccer), Cameron Henry (men's lacrosse), Ngozi Iloh (volleyball), Devin Obee (baseball), Sydney Smith (women's lacrosse), and Kaima Turbes (cross country/track & field). The discussion will be moderated by John Blackshear, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs & Dean of Students.
