Family Garden Walk: Historic Gardens

Join us for a family walk through the Historic Gardens to explore the variety of spaces the make up this area of Duke Gardens. Explore some of the unique features of this garden area, including the Terraces Garden and the koi pond and learn how this garden is designed and planted each year. Participants will meet at the Doris Duke Center.

This event will involve traveling on unpaved and, at-times, uneven surfaces for close to an hour; not all surfaces are ideal for strollers. Service dogs are welcome but please leave family pets at home. Program will not occur during inclement weather.
